TM Technical are very excited to be given the opportunity to work with one of Scotland’s largest dairies based in Bridge of Allan to assist with recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer.
Our client is a third generation family business with 7 sites based in Scotland who are going through a massive growth period due to the ongoing demand of their products.
Hours– 42.5 hours per week – working a day shift between the hours of 6am and 6pm with occasional weekend working.
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
What TM Technical require for the Maintenance Engineer role:- Experience of electrical and mechanical plants
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installation of motors, VFD’s and PLC’s
- Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training programme in installation and maintenance that includes practical experience
- Experience with food process and packing equipment would be an advantage
- Proactive in completing PMP’s and breakdowns
- Professional manner
- Working to budgets
- Good problem-solving ability
Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer within our client:- Maintenance and repair of a range of machinery.
- Incorporating excellent relations with external contractors
- Comply with health and safety and food safety legislation
- Ensuring where possible production is not impacted and liaise with production for planned maintenance
- Preventative maintenance of machinery.
- On call support
- Carry out any special projects as required by management team
- Maintenance of records for repairs, breakdowns, installations etc.
- Responsible for ensuring all engineering contractors wear PPE
- Support with all customer, regulatory or accreditation body enquiries, site visits and audits
Our desired candidate would have experience working within a fast paced production plant and be looking to join a team and progress with them long term.
