TM Scotland Grangemouth & Falkirk branch are very excited to be given the opportunity to work with one of Scotland’s largest dairies based in Bridge of Allan to assist with recruiting an experienced Process Technician to work within the controls department.
Our client is a third generation family business with 7 sites based in Scotland who are going through a massive growth period due to the ongoing demand of their products.
Hours of work: Dayshift, backshift & nightshift (40 hours per week)
Pay rate:£29,120 increasing to £33k after training
What TM Scotland require for the Process Technician role:- Previous Processing experience preferable
- Previous dairy experience preferable
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- Experience working on a 3 week rotational shift pattern ( days, backs and nights)
Duties and responsibilities as a Process Technician within our client:- Receipt of raw milk
- Pasteurising raw milk, and sampling for quality assurance testing
- Pasteurising cream, all cream products. Carry out sampling as and when required.
- Carry out cleaning of all plant and associated equipment and environment before during and after production.
- Complete all operational logs and data sheets are filled in daily.
- Complying with all site quality, safety and hygiene instructions and procedures
- Basic mechanical skills. (I.E., changing seals on homogenising equipment)
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements and adhere to HR policies and procedures
- Assist Processing Manager as and when required and carry out any other reasonable duties to ensure the effective and smooth running of the dairy.
Our desired candidate would have experience working within a fast paced, machine operating role with deadlines. You would be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the controls filtering process.
